USATVADS has been monitoring TV Ads for 33 years. During that time, it has always been our policy to provide our clients with the best possible quality and service. When we began in New York in 1975 all TV Ads were collected on 3/4 inch U-Matic tape. At that time it was the best possible equipment available. During the decades that followed we have kept up with all new advancements in modern video technology. Today our commercials are mastered digitally in High Definition from many satellite dishes directed to the top TV Networks throughout America.
3/4 inch U-Matic Cassettes were the standard in Broadcast, when we began in 1975.. During that time, USATVADS collected and mastered all of our TV Commercials on that medium. This is still far superior to today’s standard VHS quality.
1975-2008
Super-VHS tape was introduced in the nineties and USATVADS upgraded all our equipment to accommodate this new technology. The new format provides more than double the video definition & quality of the older 3/4 inch U-Matic Cassettes -- nearly 450 lines of color versus 225 on the U-matic cassettes.
State of the Art Hard Disc Drives collect video signals from our satellite dishes. This is DVD quality and nothing is superior.
High Definition Digital Video is our preferred format for 2007. During this year, we hope to convert our older analog material to digital format. It’s a big job because we have over one million TV commercials in our library.
